Kimberly Guilfoyle joined FOX News Channel (FNC) in January 2006 as the host of the one-hour crime-based program, "The Line Up," (Saturdays and Sundays, 9-10 PM ET) which covers major breaking news with an emphasis on legal affairs and issues of the day, and is the highest rated cable news program in its time slot. She also serves as a legal analyst for FNC.
Formerly of Court TV, which she joined in January 2004 as co-host of "Both Sides," Guilfoyle also served as a legal analyst on ABC’s "Good Morning America" and on CNN’s "Larry King Live" and "Anderson Cooper 360°."
Prior to her broadcasting career, she served as an assistant district attorney at the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office. As managing attorney of the trial division, she was co-prosecutor in the case People v. Noel and Knoller, a second-degree murder trial involving a dog mauling, which received national and international attention. During her legal career, Guilfoyle spent four years as a deputy district attorney in Los Angeles where she received several awards, including "Prosecutor of the Month."
In
2005, Guilfoyle was named USO Entertainer of the Year. Guilfoyle is a
graduate of University of California, Davis and the University of San
Francisco School of Law. She is married to Eric Villency, president and
CEO of Maurice Villency, Inc., and lives in New York City.
